Krude Kunst
An event series to offer exchange and feedback when works are in their most beautiful, vulnerable phase. Stricly upon invitation.

Krude Kunst (2022-) is an event series dedicated to works that are still in their vulnerable and beautiful phase of creation. It can be an artwork prototype, a curatorial intuition, a chapter draft, an older work that calls for revisiting … At each event I invite an artist or researchers and work with them on a carefully selected guestlist. The aim is to shape to shape an informal, safe and inspiring environment that can offer supportive yet critical feedback, to help projects unleash their full beauty.
The title ‘Krude Kunst’ plays with an old-fashioned German word, ‘krud’, and refers to 1) raw, unfinished works of art 2) the setting of the studio as a site of the work-in-progress, del non-finito. ‘Crudo’ exists also in Italian, with the same meaning.
Krude Kunst is open to experienced practitioners as well as to young and emerging artists, to foster art dialogues across career levels. Participants since 2022: Giovanni Blandino Bertone, Daniele Lucchini, Ingeborg Reichle, Marco Donnarumma, Fara Peluso, Andrea Familari, Anna Cingi, Theresa Schubert, Carmen Salas, Shintaro Miyazaki.
Krude Kunst is an event series curated and produced by Margherita Pevere. Graphic layout and strategic support by Fara Peluso.
